Re: Wave jamming

No problem.
I am currently not at home.
But as soon as possible, I will do the test and tell you the result here.

Re: Wave jamming

Thank you Luis for this detailed response.
In the meantime, I will continue to use my Nmea4Wifi from 2019 which works very well (contrary to what I thought).
If I understood correctly, the new multiplexer that I bought by mistake brings nothing more than the one from 2019.

Wave jamming

My Nmea4wifi is from 2019 and has always worked very well. During the summer, I encountered problems. Indeed, to connect my autopilot to OpenCPN, I added TCP mode to the already installed UDP mode. This Wifi/UDP/TCP mode worked very well for about 7-8 minutes (the flashes were regular) then shut dow...

Re: ** Bi-directional link **

Hello Dagnall, A big thank you for this precise and very detailed answer, which answers exactly what I "wanted" to hear. This corresponds and confirms what I had read in the user manual provided by Luis. I will have more or less the same setup as what you described, and your diagram is very informat...

** Bi-directional link **

Hello Luis, My question may be stupid, but I'm going ... On my next boat, I will be able to receive with the Nmea4Wifi all the information (sensors, GPS, AIS) on the tablet of my PC 2 in 1, Thougbook CF-33. This tablet is waterproof, 1300 nits, 2 batteries and I don't want to connect a cable to it. ...

Re: New SMD Multiplexers and Wifi Signal Strength

Hello Luis,

My question might sound silly, I'm sorry, but I don't understand the difference between the standard Nmea4Wifi I own, and the new one called SMD.

Berst regards,

Re: FURUNO FCV668 sounder

Hello Luis, After testing all the possibilities of connections, even adding an additional mass to check, nothing worked until ... ... until updating the software with the latest version (NMEA4WIFIV34.BIN) and there, without doing anything, with just the two wires connected, I finally get the display...

Re: FURUNO FCV668 sounder

Hello Luis, I confirm that measurement with the multimeter gives positive results. The voltage is positive (TXD-H, TXD-C). I meanwhile went on the boat and with the oscilloscope (the same as yours), I made measurements. I posted two short films about these measurements on this page. https://www.schn...

Re: FURUNO FCV668 sounder

Hello Luis,

So I ordered this oscilloscope.
As soon as it is delivered, I will send you a private message to determine the tests to be performed.

Alain

Re: FURUNO FCV668 sounder

Hello Luis, Thank you for this very quick answer. The input port of the multiplexer where i am trying to deliver the Foruno data are A3 and B3 (they work, I tested them with another nmea input). I will try to go on the boat this week and at first, I will measure with a multimeter the voltage coming ...
