Re: Connection matrix settings

Hello again, I run on solar panels so I will not take to much time with the computer connected. Here are the starting lines of the multiplexer code /* ESP32NMEA4WIFI is a multiplexer that reads 4 serial NMEA 0183 ports and outputs the combination through WIFI and (or) through an output serial port. ...

Re: Connection matrix settings

Hello, I could send you the loop code so that you could understand better. It is in my PC and I am writing using my smartphone. I will try to write here what the loop is: 1) Check if there is a http request at port 82 and if so go to OTA update. 2) Check if there is a http request at port 80 and if ...

Re: Connection matrix settings

Hello, Thank you for your informative post. It is very useful to me. The crossing to Thassos (Limnearia) was as planned except that I got unexpected 28 knots window when forecast was 15. It happened just when I passed the Mont Athos cape. It is a mountain of 2020 meters high. When I was approaching ...

Re: How to Flash a Blank ESP32 module

Hello Thank you very much for describing your experiments. I have now a lot of information to explore. I am at the middle of a 60 mile crossing heading to the isle of Thassos. If you need an ESP32 module I can send you for a fraction of the cost that you see in EBay. I need to look with more detail ...

Re: How to Flash a Blank ESP32 module

Hello, Thank you for your post. I could not follow your sequence of experiments. Is the ESP32 module that came with the multiplexer dead? Can you flash the blink sketch? If you got a replacement you should flash the small "OTA preparation sketch" and then use OTA to update whatever firmware you need...

Re: NMEA4WIFI - recovery from lockout

Hello Roberto, On my Android Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, I was not able to use DHCP. I could with my wife Samsung Note 10. I had already written this earlier in this topic. When I choose Static IP and use for example 192.168.4.2 I still have to switch off automatic WiFi management. See the following pi...

Re: Wifi on/off with approx 3sec intervals on Android

Hello,

Thank you for the feedback. Yes it looks that DHCP is not working with some Android phones. It works fine on my wife Samsung Note 10 but not on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. With static IP it works fine. I need to investigate this when I return from the sailing season.

Re: Navionics Boating AIS connection

Hello Simon, I thought you had the 4 input multiplexer. Since you have the Nmea2wifi you can try this binary: https://www.vela-navega.com/nmea2wifi/v53/NMEA2WIFIV63G.bin It is the same as version 63 but if the P2 output buffer is full the multiplexer waits instead of dropping the sentence. Hope that...
