Will NMEA4WIFI USB wired output create virtual COM port on PC?

Can I connect my PC with navigation software via USB cable to NMEA4WIFI for instruments data connection?

Hello Luis, for firmware update NKE use TopLink2 software. I can send TopLink2 and manual to you to check if Nmea4Wifi "sees" it.

Hello, is Nmea4Wifi has 2 way communication between the WIFI device and any suitable NMEA devices (e.g. would it be possible to send commands to autopilot from smartphone app)?

We do have nke Gyropilot 2.

nke Display app can be used as autopilot remote control, but multiplexer needs to have 2 way communication. So I was wondering if we can use Nmea4Wifi instead of crazy expensive nke Wifi Box.

Luis, please test Nmea4Wifi with nke Display app and let me know if it works.

It looks like Nmea4Wifi should work fine, but it would be great to be 100% sure and not waste time/money on postage/return.
