Re: Struggle with OTA update
Hello damedechina, I am ready to send you a flashed esp32 unit. I must say that I have just update the firmware of many multiplexers to version 2.7 without problems. I noticed that I receive the alert "Insecure" connection (see the red text in the picture). I wonder if there is some protection on yo...

Re: probléme lecture seatalk 1
Hello AL15000, I just discovered the problem with version 26. The converted (from SeaTalk1) Nmea 0183 sentences do not terminate with CR LF. I expect to correct the bug and I will create version 27. Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the time taken to correct this! Regards, Luis PS: Here is th...

Navionics App and AIS - Nmea2Wifi and Nmea4Wifi
Hello, The popular Navionics Boating App is now capable of displaying AIS targets over the maps. In order to get it working you need: a) choose UDP protocol and set port number equal to 2000. I tested this last week when I was sailing in Turkey b) or use TCP and set IP address = 192.168.15.1 Port Nu...

Re: Navionics Boating AIS connection
Hello, You do not need to specify a IP address in UDP mode. As long as you use UDP and port 2000 you will see the AIS targets on the Navionics Boating App. In the Nmea4Wifi multiplexer there is an hidden mode to specify an IP address different from 192.168.4.1 so that you can use the multiplexer wit...

Re: probléme lecture seatalk 1
Hello, I am very sorry but I did not make the comparison between the two versions. I will try to do it shortly. As this requires a lot of attention, may be what I will do is to start with the 2.5 version and just replace the few lines that deal with the depth conversion with the ones that exist in 2...

Re: Struggle with OTA update
Hello,
I normally use Chrome on my Windows 10 laptop when I update using OTA. I need to test with Firefox.
Please email me privately in the middle of August so that I remember to send you a flashed unit.
Regards Luis

Re: Struggle with OTA update
Hello, If the ESP32 with firmware 2.1 is working then you should be able to update it over the air. I would start by making a factory reset by pressing and holding the Boot button for about 3 seconds. You enter 192.168.4.1 and check if the settings are as the factory settings. You get the new firmwa...

Re: probléme lecture seatalk 1
Hello, Great! In one or two days I will check carefully what is the exact difference between the 2 versions. But on version 25 Seatalk1 conversion should be wrong. I am on anchor and when I will be in a marina I will come to this problem. Thank you for the feedback and sorry for all the trouble. Reg...

Re: probléme lecture seatalk 1
Bonjour, Could you please confirm the origin of nmea data file "j’Ai sauvegardé un fichier de données que j’ai reçu sur Maxsea venant du boîtier wifi4"? Was this file the result of the Seatalk1 to Nmea183 conversion by the the multiplexer? Assuming that the file was converted from Seatalk1 and that ...

Re: probléme lecture seatalk 1
Hello Thank you for the clarification. I will answer in English (you can reply in French). Could you please tell where you got the enclosed data? Is P4 the only input? Was the enclosed data taken with another app receiving wifi or you get it with maxsea or tz iboat? In the first email you say that b...
