CP2102 USB to UART Driver

Post by Countess37 » Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:50 pm

Hi Luis

Finally got around to installing my NMEA4Wifi I bought back in February last weekend.

I was struggling to get the output to my RS232 to USB converter working (I’m sure I will get there eventually) so
thought I’d try the NMEA4Wifi USB output instead. Unfortunately Windows couldn’t find the correct CP2012 device driver
having subsequently looked online there are several options so wondered if you have got a link to the correct one? I’ve searched forums and couldn’t find any reference to it.

Many thanks

Mark

Hello Mark,

I have here in the forum some information on USB adapters. Please check this:

Regarding the driver for the USB interface included in the ESP32 module I am not sure where it could be obtained as in my case my Windows 10 PC recognizes it automatically. I just connected a module to my PC using a USB cable and I got that information:

Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge. May be you could google....
