External Wifi antenna

I'd be interested to connect a high gain external wifi antenna.
Actually my boat is aluminium hull and I'd like to receive wifi in my instruments located in the cockpit. I am already equiped with a wifi an omnidirectionnal external antenna with a low attenuation cable eding in classical RP-SMA connectors.
Could it be possible to connect it directly or indirectly to the Nmea4Wifi that i bought 2 days ago ?
