I had previously written a post with advice regarding Navionics in the nmea2 forum, which has grown as I have identified more navigation Apps that can use features of NMEA2/4 and now NMEA3.
To avoid two posts with very similar data, I will include here a link to the main post that is occasionally updated and describes what apps can be used for autopilot control.
Almost any APP that has the ability to send navigation to waypoint messages ('BWR etc.. ), can have these messages routed by a NMEAxWIFI to the NMEAXWiFI NMEA output, or, in the case of NMEA3WIFI, they can also be translated to Seatalk datagrams and routed back to the boat on Seatalk, allowing for very simple boat wiring.
