ST2000+, NMEA0183 VWR MWV and Seatalk

Post by sdaguet » Tue Apr 25, 2023 8:11 am

Hello Luis,

Thanks for the account confirmation and your nice products!

I did not found any answer to my questions in the forum, hope I did not miss something.

I'm evaluating to install a wind system on my sailbot, equiped with a ST2000+ tiller pilot.

Then, looking to Nasa instruments, wind information is sent with a MWV sentence.
Looking to ST2000+ manual, it waits for the old VWR sentence.

Then I'm wondering:
- Is there any conversion possible (MWV to VWR) with the NmeaXWifi mux ?
- May the Nmea3Wifi be the solution, integrating with ST2000+ using Seatalk ?

Best regards!
