wifi echo sounder

Post by Choisnard » Tue May 09, 2023 8:01 am

Hello,

I am using NMEA3WIFI, AIS signal from VHF Standard horizon GX2200E connected on serial port and external network mode on my celphone in acces point.
Then I use Boating on IPAD connected on my cel phone.

But how can I connect and receive the echo sounder wifi data from a Raymarine WI-FISH?
This echo sounder has only a wifi signal and no settings page.

Best regards
Stéphane

Hello Stephane,

As far as I know WiFish uses WiFi but does not sends Nmea0183 data. The multiplexer only can receive or transmit Nmea0183 data. You should use the Raymarine app to see the sonar data.
