Here is the list of Binary files that have been released. I truly suggest that you use the last one. Users that own a prototype hardware should look here.
- N2K0183V130.BIN (December 2023) - initial release.
- N2K0183V140.BIN (January 2024) - medium release. The following improvements were added:
- More PGN conversions were added as shown in the tables of this webpage.
- SeaSmart streams of data can be read from UDP, TCP or EXT ports.
- N2K0183V20.BIN (February 2024) - major release. The following improvements were added:
- Reading, routing and validation internal functions were completed revised.
- NMEA2000 RAW data formats now include bidirectional N2KASCII, PCDIN and Actisense Text.
- Apps like nCenter, OpenCPN and others can communicate to the NMEA2000 bus if they use N2KASCII or PCDIN RAW data.
- RAW data WiFi channels can optionally use separate UDP and TCP ports so that NMEA0183 sentences and NMEA2000 RAW messages flow on different WiFi channels.
- Now it is possible to create an open AP and connecting to an open external network using the entry NULL in the password text boxes for the referred to networks. Please see this explanation
- modification of the P2 output buffer with possible dropping of sentences as explained here
- Minor changes in the appearance of the main and extra settings webpages.
- N2K0183V21.BIN (April 2024) - minor release. Only small "cosmetic" changes.
- N2K0183V22.BIN (April 2024) - very small bug corrected. Very few users would need to update. Bug was that you could not change the AP IP address as described here.
