Inox Bow Protection

Hello,
When Margarida was in Burriana during the winter there was another Oceanis 40 there, that had a bow protection made in inox. It was extremely well done. Later, when Margarida was in Porto, I tried to get someone to do something similar. I bought a 4 mm sheet of inox 316 and took a mould. Then the contracted expert tried to shape the inox sheet to the bow of Margarida. But uit was impossible to get a perfect fit because the bow was not completely straight. The piece was placed with 4 screws and we used a lot of white Sika to cover/connect the protection to the boat.
The result is not 100% perfect but, at least, no more crashes on the gelcoat made by the anchor!
Regards, Luis
