Iris - revising the plan (2010)
So the boat has been named and we were all set. I had the time to get the camera and let Iris make a review of what was in front of us. We were leaving Antibes (on the left of the film) and Nice and the Alpes (on the right of the film). Until about 2 am we were going with land at starbord. After that no more land until we come to Menorca 1 1/2 days later.

Time for Champagne (2010)
I must give a big "Thank You" to Oliver because he remembered to get a bottle of champagne. Because of all the stress to have things ready, I completely forgot such an important detail. So, with the auto pilot taken us on the heading of 210ยบ, we all went to the front and we named our boat. I made a small speech referring to the name of my mother and my grand daughter. Then we drunk of cup of champagne. By the way, some days later, in Palma, we had to give 3 possible names for the boat when filling the registration documentation. The first was "MARGARIDA". The second was "MAR GARIDA" and the third was "MARGA RIDA".powered by social2s
