All the multiplexers have a Debug Mode of operation. This mode is very useful to test if data is arriving properly at the multiplexer inputs. In debug mode, the multiplexer will read, during 20 seconds, data arriving at P1, P2, (and P3 and P4 in the case of the Nmea4Wifi) SeaTalk1 and wifi (UDP and TCP) inputs and will print that data in the browser webpage. No data will be output. The following video shows the messages read in the Debug Window in the case of the Nmea3Wifi multiplexer receiving Nmea0183 data at the P1 input port:

 

In order to show the capabilities of the Nmea3Wifi multiplexer as an analyser/debugger of the SeaTalk1 bus we injected by an external device all the known datagrams (plus an unknown at the end) and, at the same time, we set the Nmea3Wifi multiplexer to read the SeaTalk1 input (we need to check one of the ST routing boxes or the SeaTalk1 input will be ignored). We entered Debug mode and with "ST>NMEA MODE" equal to 2, we got the following debug messages:
