RECEIVING AND TRANSMITTING NMEA 0183 SENTENCES
You can use the Nmea4Wifi Tool to receive and transmit Nmea 0183 sentences from and to the multiplexer or any other device capable of communicating through a serial COM port or through wifi using the the UDP or the TCP internet protocol. For example you can power the multiplexer using a USB cable from your computer and test the operation of the multiplexer as shown in the figure. You can power the module using a USB cable, through a 2-wire connection to a battery or both.
Concerning wifi communication, it is important to understand that
the multiplexer always acts as a server in a client server model.
So, the PC in the picture, or the devices that connect to the
multiplexer, are clients.
